5 Tools Every Mom Brand and Momfluencer Needs

Being a momfluencer (or running a mom brand) means juggling literally everything: being the she-fault parent, creating content, and crossing your fingers that it will turn into cash Let’s not even mention balancing a 9-5 or holding down your home, or getting dinner on the table before 8 PM at the same time.

And as someone who has been in the online space for almost 5 years - helping multiple momfluencers pockets $20k, $30k, even $40k+ months just from affiliates - I can confidently say these are my 5 non-negotiables for mom brands.

These are the tools I actually use, love, and recommend to my clients - and any mom who is serious about growing her brand and monetizing her influence.

So grab your lukewarm coffee, your emotional-support Stanley dupe, and let’s dive in.

1. Tripod or Gimbal (or both!)

What is it?
A hands-free filming tool that stabilizes your phone for smooth TikToks, Reels, and family content (hello DIY christmas cards that are cute and authentic)

Features & Why I Love It

  • Lightweight and portable (YES, even with kids in tow).

  • Stabilization levels up your content with smooth transitions and polished vibes.

  • Lets you film without begging your partner to hold the camera (and then hate the angle… am I right?).

Who it’s for: Moms filming solo, wanting to level up their visuals, or tired of balancing their phone on random objects (or training toddlers to be cameramen).

Pros + Cons
✅ Affordable, accessible, works with any phone
✅ Major difference in quality with ZERO learning curve
❌ Cheap versions can break easily or don’t include a Bluetooth remote

Worth it?
Absolutely. If you want consistent video content without the extra stress, a tripod or gimbal (or a combo) is your new best friend. I have this Gimbal which can also be used as a small tripod, and has a Bluetooth remote built directly into the handle. Fits perfectly into a small crossbody purse! Coming in under $30 makes this an invaluable tool for your business.

2. Flodesk

What is it?
An email marketing platform that makes design + automation simple for busy moms.

Features & Why I Love It

  • Drag-and-drop beautiful templates → easy to personalize and make your emails pop.

  • Simple workflows (you don’t need to be a techie).

  • Affordable flat-rate pricing (no surprise jumps when your list grows).

Who it’s for: Momfluencers who want to build their audience off social media and monetize through offers, promos, and affiliate links.

Pros + Cons
✅ Gorgeous designs → emails + opt-ins look branded and professional
✅ Built-in checkouts for workshops, masterclasses, digital products
✅ Beginner-friendly
❌ Limited integrations compared to ConvertKit or MailerLite

Worth it?
YES. If you’re ready to own your audience and stop relying solely on IG/TikTok, Flodesk makes it so easy to start. I’ve got a link for you to save 50% off your first year with Flodesk.

3. Metricool

What is it?
An all-in-one social media scheduling + analytics platform.

Features & Why I Love It

  • Schedule posts to IG, TikTok, FB, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Threads (yes, they were one of the first!).

  • Analytics dashboard → track growth + clicks.

  • Competitor + hashtag research.

Who it’s for:
Moms moving from “posting randomly” to “posting strategically.” If you sometimes have two hours to plan content and sometimes negative 10 minutes, this tool will save you.

Pros + Cons
✅ Saves time by batching content
✅ Shows you what’s actually working (data > guessing)
❌ Slight learning curve if you’re new to analytics

Worth it?
YES. The free version allows 50 posts/month. Even the first paid tier gives you 500 — making consistent posting so much easier.

4. Mini Mic

What is it?
Clip-on microphone that instantly boosts your video audio quality.

Features & Why I Love It

  • Small and discreet (sometimes even a visual hook in itself).

  • Plugs directly into your phone (wireless options available).

  • Clears up that echoey “mom kitchen” sound.

Who it’s for: Moms filming TikToks, Reels, or podcast clips from their phone who want a small investment with a big impact.

Pros + Cons
✅ Inexpensive — as little as $9 on Amazon
✅ Huge improvement in video quality
❌ May need an adapter for newer iPhones

Worth it?
Yes. Audio is what keeps people watching your videos — and this tiny tool = big payoff.

5. Amazon Storefront

What is it?
Amazon’s affiliate platform that lets you create your own curated shop and monetize your favorite products.

We all shop on Amazon. It’s one of the easiest affiliate programs to get accepted into, and the simplest way to start making money off what you’re already loving and recommending. Bonus: Amazon boosts affiliates with monthly bonuses, creator connections, and extra incentives.

Features & Why I Love It

  • Your own “storefront” where followers can browse your recs.

  • Upload photos to make them shoppable.

  • Earn commission every time someone buys (even if it’s not exactly what you linked).

  • Amazon = already trusted by moms everywhere.

Who it’s for: ANY momfluencer or mom brand — lifestyle, sewing, toddler hacks, WAHM business tips.

Pros + Cons
✅ Easiest entry into monetization (no big audience required — even your mom can support you).
✅ Storefront is browsable + feels official.
❌ Commissions are small — but volume adds up fast.

Worth it?
YES. Amazon Storefront is the first step from posting for free → being paid for your influence.

You don’t need every fancy gadget or platform out there to grow your influence and make money online. You just need tools you’ll actually use consistently.

For me (and my clients), these 5 tools are non-negotiables. They help me simplify the chaos, stay consistent, and actually monetize what I’m sharing.

So… what’s the first tool you’re grabbing? 👇
